TEHRAN - The Iranian Judiciary has denied reports that two former officials of the Ahmadinejad administration have been arrested.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Judiciary spokesman Qolamhossein Mohseni Ejei said reports about the arrest of Mohammad Sharif Malekzadeh are incorrect, the Alef news website reported.

Malekzadeh used to serve as director of the Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization in the Ahmadinejad administration.

Ejei also denied the arrest of Masoud Zaribafan who served as director of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs during the presidency of Ahmadinejad.
